These introductory lacrosse classes are for beginning and first year players. We will focus on the fundamentals of the game with primary emphasis on stick skills (throwing, catching, scoping ). Offensive and defensive skills (shooting, dodging, etc.) and game play are incorporated into each session. Players will take away a broad understanding of girl's lacrosse rules and how the game is played.
All players are required to have a hard stick, goggles and a mouth guard. These items are available for purchase at The Next Level Lacrosse Store.

These 10-week lacrosse classes are for players with 1-3 years of experience (hard stick) who are looking to improve all aspects of their game. We will continue to focus on the fundamentals of the game, with emphasis on weak-hand stick skills, as well as the following concepts: shooting (speed, quick release, shot location, deception), dodging technique (specific dodges and how to set up your defender), individual defensive play and positioning, and overall team offensive and defensive principles.

These small group clinics will teach proper positioning and technique for saving a variety of shots (outside, bounce, inside, etc.). Joey will also cover angle play, outlets, clearing, mental preparation and leadership/communication.
In addition, each class will include classroom coaching sessions with film review and analysis of each goalie in action to enhance the learning process and help identify areas for improvement. The small size of this class allows for a great deal of individual instruction for each goalie.
Joey Kemp graduated from Georgetown Prep where he earned All American honors. At Notre Dame Joey was team captain and a three time all American and was considered one of if not the top goalie in the country. At Notre Dame Joey led the nation with a .652 save percentage as a freshman and ranks first in program history in victories (40), goals-against average (7.20), minutes played for a goaltender (3189:46), games started for a goaltender (56) and saves (633).
Joey played professional lacrosse in the MLL for the Los Angeles Riptide and the Washington Bayhawks.
