Anthony Russo is a professional Athletic Trainer and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. His focus is on achieving an overall elevated level of health and fitness and injury prevention by using a combination of strength and conditioning techniques with functional training. He specializes in the prevention and care of all athletic related injuries for middle and high school athletes, and in the personal training and post-rehabilitation of adults recovering from injury.

Graduated from Seneca Valley HS in 1997 where he played football for 4 years.

Graduated from Western Maryland College (McDaniel College) in 2002 with a BA in Exercise Science and Athletic Training.

Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association).

Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC).

Was a member of the 1997 and 1998 undefeated Conference Champion Football Team at Western Maryland College (McDaniel College).

Was an Assistant Athletic trainer for multiple Athletic Teams at Western Maryland College.

From 2004 to 2007, Mr. Russo was an Athletic Trainer with Metro Orthopedics and Sports Therapy serving Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart.

Was an Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Washington Freedom Soccer ClubWoman’s Professional Reserve Team.

Master Trainer at Towns Sports International/Washington Sports Clubs for 4 years. He was consistently on the Towns Sports International “Top 30 Trainer List” chosen from the personal trainers at Town Sports International’s 144 locations throughout the East Coast.

Created “Integrative Sports Medicine, LLC” and “The Youth, Education on Athletics and Health Program.” (Y.E.A.H Program).

Works at the “The Next Level Athletic Performance Center” in Bethesda, Maryland where he is a student of Applied Functional Science mentored by David Gottfeld (M.A.T. certified specialist, Applied Functional Science specialist with Gray Institute, FMR certified).
