Next Level Summer 2010

Football Skills Position Camp (Ages 12-16)

Take a break from pushing heavy weights and running sprints to concentrate on the skills you need to improve to get your game where it needs to be. Former Division I college football players will teach you the fundamental skills to make you a more knowledgeable and skilled football player. All skill levels welcome!  No pads or helmets required. 

Quarterbacks will learn the fundamentals of arm mechanics and footwork agility, timing and check-downs.  Coaches are experienced in Wing-T and Spread formation offenses.

Running Backs will master ball control and cuts.  Heavy emphasis on Spread formations and Wild Cat offenses will center drills on receiving and direct snaps from a quarterback/running back threat.

Wide Receivers will learn breakpoints, timing, route techniques, and gain essential knowledge on how to read what the opposing players are revealing in formation.  There will be heavy emphasis on footwork and receiving skills to help turn that 5 yard reception into a 30 yard game-changer. 

Defensive Backs will drill on proper footwork techniques in multiple scenarios.  Man-on-man coverage and skill work while reading the break and hip level of receivers will be heavily drilled and reviewed.  Ball drills and zone work will round out the tools you will learn in order to be a fast-minded player.

Linebackers will work on coverage skills and responsibilities in addition to run/pass reads.  Drill work will help those with tight hips open up to play smarter and faster.  Just as important to LB’s as defensive backs...speed kills.  Ball drills and pass lane instruction will help you turn your defensive play into offensive scores. 

Drill work and competitions will be filmed for further breakdown and analysis.

Summer Sessions:

Session I: July 6, 7, 8, 10
Session II: July 20, 21, 22, 24
Session III: July 27, 28, 29, 31

Tuesday-Thursday 7:45pm-9:15pm
Saturday 9:45am-12:00am

7:45pm-7:55pm - dynamic warm-up
7:55pm-8:15pm - eye-hand coordination training drills
8:15pm-8:40pm - small group position training
8:40pm-9:00pm - team/one-on-one technique drills
9:00pm-9:15pm – warm-down, static stretch

9:45am-10:00am - film review of weekday classes
10:00am-10:10am -dynamic warm-up
10:10am-10:30am - small group position training
10:30am-11:15am - position-specific competitions
11:15am-12:00pm - offense v. defense

  • Week Camp (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday): $155
  • Weekday Camp ONLY Package (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday): $125
  • Saturday Day Camp ONLY: $55
